Fiji, Gilbert Islands, Marshall Islands, part of Russia, and New Zealand is now celebrating New Year. 4 more hours to go before Malaysia’s turn. Russia has 11 timezones and thus its going to be an eleven hour celebrations. Why Malaysia don’t have? We need 1 here. So I can give myself excuses to party for 11 hours non stop.

I have stopped making new year resolutions ever since secondary schools when the teachers no longer forces us to do 1. I think that was like 5 years back. I don’t really bother making one because I don’t believe you need a new year to turn a new leaf. I do make many resolutions throughout the year and I let at least 1 person who is close to me know about it and can make sure I will be on the track. New year resolutions are no different than goals. It should be set whenever deemed necessary and you have to work for it.
So, why do I bother making 1 now. Actually, I am not making 1, but I am just listing down resolutions/goals that are not done and I am carrying them to the next year.
- Add extra weight until I am back to 45kg. When I just entered my uni in 2005, I weighted 45kg. But after I got sick and recovered, my weight float between 42-43kg. No matter how much I eat, it seems I hardly gain any weight. Yeah, envy me girls :p
- Continue to save more. Actually was money to buy myself a graphic tablet. Miracle did happened and I got a Wacom Bamboo Fun earlier. Consider it an Xmas gift from my parents. I was saving from the extra allowances they give throught last sem and this sem. Yeah, I was keeping it secret from alot of ppl. After this people will know I have a tablet and I know, they will go like why the hell and engineering student own this kinda thing.
- Continue to stay away from smoking.
- Continue to hunt down that freaking stalker that almost messed up my life. I am going to castrate him/her.
- Continue to try to achieve full attendance in lectures and tutorials. I am doing quite well to achieve 100% attendance. Continue to keeping the good work.
- Continue to offer volunteer ship. For this coming year, I will be focused more on contributing back to the MMU community.
- Continue to strengthen my relationship with my dear baby. A lot of things had happened since the past 15 months and there was this 1 stupid freaking malay (my assumption) trying to break us apart, but we went through together and came out even stronger. For the malays out there, stop being a stupid malay. For the chinese out there, this is Malaysia, a multi racial country, stop being ignorant and and stop making a fuss about racial issues.
- Hmm… 8th resolution? Since its the year 2008, I hope something good going to happen to me on 08.08.2008. Tripple 8 wor… Hope can kena jackpot and get RM8, 888, 888. lol… No need to be greedy. Better think about graduating first before worrying about money.
